Map Design For Rani Baug ​​​​​​​

Rani Baug has always been fascinating me since I was in kindergarten. I got a chance to design a map and the visual identity of this zoo in my Visual Communication course. 

The challenge was to seek the attention of kids and make the visuals easy to understand. 

In the map, Animals, Birds, water, direction symbol, route, ticket counter and Each tree has been handrawn on A1 size paper with Oil pastels to give a raw feeling of the zoo. The Logo and the informative text are in digital format. I tried to give the route a stem like structure to make the whole map look like a tree.I enjoyed simplifying these characters and using them as an identity for Rani Baug.
